The PRS SE Single Cut features a gorgeous bookmatched, heavily flamed maple veneer (on transparent-finish models) on a maple top and mahogany back. This tried-and-true wood combination produces great resonance with bold bottom end, enhanced by the wraparound stop tailpiece/bridge for direct transfer of string vibration.
For 2007, PRS has updated the Singlecut model which is now offered as two unique models, the SC 250 and the SC 245. The new SC 250 comes with 250 Pickups, a thick headstock, adjustable PRS Stoptail, Phase II locking mini tuners, comes set up with .010 gauge strings and has an optional satin finish. These changes provide for thicker sound, power and more sustain for players looking for a more modern “rock” sound.
The PRS SE CUSTOM SEMI HOLLOW is PRS’ very first semi-hollow SE model guitar ever and includes the same features as the SE Custom in a light-weight semi-hollow package.
