The majority composite material in the Fibersticks is called Carbon or carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is widely used in the Aerospace Industry and is commonly referred to in that industry as “black gold’’. It is so coveted by the aerospace industry because, in addition to being a very light material, it is an extremely strong material. Carbon Fiber is the material of choice in the aerospace industry because it can withstand extremely high gravity forces (known as G-Forces) and pressures while simultaneously possessing a Wear Resistance greater than most materials known to man. When we apply this technology to drum stick manufacturing, we produce a drum stick with an increased Wear Resistance that is available from Fibersticks. The Fiberstick is a durable drumstick. In addition to the high strength to weight ratio demonstrated by carbon fiber, Fibersticks also exhibits an enormous homogeneity of material composition. This homogeneity gives Fiberstick a greater Abrasion Resistance. Wood exhibits very little abrasion resistance. Carbon fiber has a very high degree of Abrasion Resistance. Simply expressed this means that Fibersticks don’t split, chip, nor fray like wooden drum sticks. Fibersticks break with only one clean break at the very end of their life. Wooden drum sticks usually chip, fray, and splinter well before they break. This does not happen with Fibersticks. Due to the enormous homogeneity of our material composition and the high strength to weight ratio exhibited by carbon fiber, Fibersticks last considerably longer than wooden drum sticks. The high Wear Resistance and Abrasion Resistance demonstrated by the Fiberstick clearly out performs all other drum sticks. The Fiberstick lasts anywhere for three to eight times the life of a wood drumstick. This is unprecedented durability in the drumstick manufacturing industry and is evidence of another advantage afforded by carbon fiber. Advantage Fibersticks !
