This rugged amp head combines outstanding features with serious clean and distorted sounds. An easy to operate DSP section lets you dial in a variety of digital effects including reverbs, delays, octave and wah-wahs - with a separate level control. Crate's unique Channel Tracking feature means that as you switch between channels and gains, the DSP automatically "tracks" the changes - your DSP settings for each channel are stored and automatically recalled! The supplied 3-button footswitch allows you to select between the three channels and turn the DSP on and off by "remote control." The electronic tuner lets you get tuned and stay in tune any time the amplifier is on. This amp also features an intuative lighted angle control panel. This amp is for semi-pro to pro players who rehearse and perform regularly, in a small to mid-sized venues. Long live the stack!

1. ELECTRONIC TUNER: The electronic tuner is active whenever the amplifier is turned on, providing con-stant,
"real-time" tuning. The bottom row of LEDs indicate which note (string) is being tuned. The top row of
LEDs provides directional queues to facilitate quick and precise tuning of your instrument. The indicated note
(string) is properly tuned when only the center LED is illuminated.
2: MUTE: This switch, when depressed, silences the input signal. The Tuner (#1) remains active when this
switch is depressed.
3. INPUT: Use this 1/4" jack to connect your guitar to the amplifier by means of a shielded instrument cable.
SOLO CHANNEL: A high gain channel giving you sounds with serious overdrive.
4: GAIN: Use this control to adjust the amount of distortion for the Solo channel.
5: SHAPE: Use this control to "dial in" the tone for the Solo channel. Rotating the control counterclockwise
enhances the mid frequencies, while rotating the control clockwise enhances the low and high frequencies.
6: LEVEL: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Solo channel.
7: SOLO/RHYTHM SELECT: Use this switch to select the Solo or Rhythm channel. When this switch is
depressed, the Solo channel is selected. With the switch in the out position, the Rhythm channel is selected.
This switch is active only when the Solo-Rhythm/Clean Select switch (#13) is depressed.
8: GAIN: Use this control to adjust the amount of distortion for the Rhythm channel.
9: LOW: Use this control to adjust the low frequency level of the Rhythm channel.
10: MID: Use this control to adjust the midrange frequency level of the Rhythm channel.

110: HIGH: Use this control to adjust the high frequency level of the Rhythm channel.
12: LEVEL: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Rhythm channel.
13: SOLO-RHYTHM/CLEAN SELECT: Use this switch to select the Clean channel or the Solo and Rhythm
channels. With the switch in the out position, the Clean channel is selected. When the switch is depressed,
either the Solo or Rhythm channel is selected, depending on the setting of the Solo/Rhythm Select switch (#7).
CLEAN CHANNEL: A normal gain channel designed to give you crystal clean sounds.
14: VOL: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Clean channel.
15: LOW: Use this control to adjust the low frequency level of the Clean channel.
16: MID: Use this control to adjust the midrange frequency level of the Clean channel.
17: HIGH: Use this control to adjust the high frequency level of the Clean channel.
18: DSP LEVEL: Use this control to adjust the amount of digital effect: in its fully counterclockwise position the
signal will be "dry" (without any effect). As you rotate the control clockwise the amount of effect increases.
19: DSP MODE: Use this control to select one of the 16 built-in digital effects. A listing of the effects is shown on
page 3 of this manual.
20: LIGHTS: Use this switch to turn the front panel illumination on (top of the switch depressed) and off (bottom
of the switch depressed). This switch is only operative when the Power switch (#21) is at the on position.
21: POWER: Use this switch to turn the amplifier on (top of the switch depressed) and off (bottom of the switch depressed).
