The HotShot ABo is a simple AB switcher with one XLR input and two outputs with which to toggle between in order to to send your signal to, for example, one of two mixer channels. A microphone signal, for example, could be toggled between two different channels on a mixer with one 'normal' channel set up dry, another with an effect, like reverb or chorus doubling on the voice.

The HotShot ABi works in reverse to the ABo in that there is two XLR inputs and one output. A user could select, for example, from either of two microphone signals to direct to a mixer, for instance if you would like to toggle between a lavalier and a podium mic.

On both the ABi and ABo a -15dB pad is provided for each channel and a -3dB trim and ground lift on Input-B add flexibilty and help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

As with all Radial stage switchers, the HotShot ABi and ABo are designed to take the abuses of the road with rugged 14-gauge steel construction, baked enamel finish, heavy-duty isolated XLR connectors and switches.
