The K3 is a 2-way High/Mid speaker cabinet designed for aktiv using. The double 12“ fiberglas midrange horn is loaded by two 12“ high quality Precision Devices speakers. The 2“ highfrequency driver works into a big 2“ fiberglas horn. The K3 has a very high maximum sound pressure at 1m by 139dB! The directivity of the the midrange and highrange fiberglas horns are horizontal 60° and vertical 40°.

The cabinet corners at the reverse side has left and right an angle of 30°. This 30° angle allows an optimal horizontal clustering of two K3 speaker cabinets, you can get a wide homogeneous horizontal directivity of 120°. The K3 has 6 flying points.

This flying points are placed in a wise which allows to fly the K3 with the high frequency horn downward. This gives the possibility to fly two K3 in a vertical array with high frequency horn by high frequency horn with a very close distance between the two high frequency drivers.This minimize the wave interference between the two high frequency acoustic sources.

PSE recommends as bass cabinets minimum two B81 or one SB82 per one K3 cabinet.
Three SB82 and two K3 on top is a perfect stacking PA-system.
